Keith Ackerley has spent all his working career in the credit industry. From university, he joined Ford Motor Company on its renowned graduate training scheme, working at Ford Credit.
He gained a sound knowledge of the whole business as a graduate trainee, then moved into Business Planning and was deeply involved in the development of automated dealing underwriting and a bespoke collections system, gaining knowledge of application and behavioural scoring.
Following managerial lending roles at Littlewoods and Renault he moved to 'large team' collection management at Capital Bank.
He expanded his knowledge of collections and recoveries at Barclays Consumer Lending with a team of 100+, and implemented London Bridge's collections software, Debt Manager.
Attracted away from Barclays by MBNA, he managed MBNA's collection department before moving in order to gain experience of the third party sector at Legal & Trade, and Eversheds Solicitors.
Further senior roles at Provident Financial, EOS Solutions and Tietoenator together with his business redletters, means Keith's experience now covers all aspects of unsecured collections and recovery.
